I prayed to Him to give me a reason. I ask Him for a purpose.
Then, my prayer was answered.
I met this person and reality struck me!
This person is not recognized. Neither a label nor considered as someone who is successful in life..
Funny how we learn from people with a completely different background.
I appreciate him so much for being him.
He is the most "TRUE" person in the world. He doesn't have much but he so giving.
I cannot fathom this, really. How can you give without having practically anything left for yourself?..
I was in awe how he lives his life for his family. I am inspired by what he considers important in his life.
It's not that I didn't get to think of these things before but a lot of people now a days are just so superficial. They live their lives like they have all the time and money in the world and worse, being selfish about it.
They brag, show off and pretend.
They go to expensive parties, show off their nice clothes, nice cars, countries they've been. Then, they post everything in facebook or somewhere for everybody to see. They post everything from designer bags to the meals they cook everyday. But I wonder if they are truly happy by the things they consider important.
Well, bad news for them but it's not what life is about...
Life is about sharing and being humbled by it.
It's about the happiness that we share together that doesn't have so much to do with money.
Life is about stretching a hand to someone in need and eventually making you much happier than the person you helped.
It's about getting by the day and even if it's a hard life, its knowing everything will be all right.
It's about knowing that reality and the truth is all we have. We don't need to be pretentious.
I think if we are in this truth, we won't regret any decision we would be making.
And this makes life worth living for..
Now, I have the reason...
