My Quarter-life Crisis
What’s next?I am not anxious about what’s next. I even don’t expect it to be big and extraordinary. BUT, it is clear to me that I deserve more than this. “This” which is obvious. “This” which is dim and somehow meaningless (at this point). I keep the pace and I’m taking my time.People strive for satisfaction otherwise content but the thing is nobody seems to be contented. When this happens, we question our own happiness.Life can have a lot of flips and a lot of turns. There are a variety of choices and major decisions to make. Often, when decisions are made, somewhere along you find yourself confused or worse, frustrated to whatever you did. And that if the choice you chose was the right one or just another mistake. One big ugly mistake!I wonder if I was or still am on the right track. The good thing: I’m not scared coz I have Him. I hang on to Him for I know that one day if everything falls I am safe or if not saved. Therefore, I want to focus on the “now” instead of the “next”. I will take life one step at a time. I’m starting to learn that it’s not about the beginning and how the ending will be. It’s about what’s in the middle, the journey. It’s about what my choices are right now. Whatever the “next” will be, I will not be afraid. I will not even wait. When someone waits in anticipation, there is a hidden expectation. These expectations are of course big because we are human beings. We get disappointed if it’s nothing more than what we expect it to be.For now, I‘ll laugh at the confusion and smile through the tears. I’ll follow my heart and see where it takes me. It doesn’t matter if its going to hurt or not. I know everything happens for a reason. My struggle for clarity doesn’t matter and doesn’t even count at this moment. For now, I choose to be here, I choose to be me....
Life’s a bitch and then you die
Whenever life throws you back or sabotages your rhythm, it’ll bring you back with either:
A bitter event or a sweet spectacle,
With something which leads you to meaningless endings or simple beginnings,
With memories of mockery or butterfly kisses,
With far fetched goals or small plans,
With big lies or mere truths,
With simple signs that knocks you out or inspires your mind,
With people who’ll show you crap or kindness,
With a hair-raising song or euphoric music,
With an incidence of misfortune or just plain coincidence,
With a condition of being cursed or heavenly blessed,
With a moment of heartsickness or heyday
Or with that one, just one person who’ll take your breath away and prove that in whatever event, love will always have its mystery.
Then SNAP!!!
Your heart pumps and rushes to your brain,
You’re suddenly pulled back at your pace.
You breathe and regain life..
You’re wiser but not for long…

From "Love the One You're With"
"At one time I was sure that the answer was yes. But if seeing him again- and merely touching his hand- could peel back so many layers of my heart, then did I ever stop loving him the way you're supposed to stop loving everyone but the one you're with? If the answer is no, then will the lapse of time or a change of geography really fix the prolem?"

A Different September Morning
I woke up today with sunlight streaking through the blinds of my room.I wonder if the worse is over or does it even matter. It’s good to know that the Father gives me another chance at life, another great journey to discover. I say to myself, “What a wonderful day, Thank You Father!”….
Day” comes from the Latin word “DIEI” or “DIES” which means “by the day”. The word “DIES” in the English Language means to die or Death. It can be derived that we live by the day. Our life is dependent on our waking hours because if not, then the inevitable had happened. Therefore, we are lucky to wake up each day but this realization is taken quite insignificantly by some.
It is good to know that a day still waits for us and we still wait for tomorrow. That the present is what really matters. That the past is the past and nothing can be done but something can be learned from it. And to comprehend completely that the next day will just be a chance. If that chance comes our way, we can taste life and see the beauty of it. So let us give gratitude to the Father for he gives us another day, month and year. Say gratitude for the people who chooses to stay in your life. See love in God’s creatures. Live by the minute, live by the day for life is just one gasp away
